BreathFly ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.
Data Collection
What We Collect
Nothing. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage data, or analytics from your device.
What We Don't Collect
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Health or breathing data
- Usage data or analytics
- Device identifiers
- Location data
- Crash reports or diagnostics
- Behavioral data or tracking information
- Cookies or similar tracking technologies

How Your Data is Processed
Local Processing Only
All breathing sessions, progress tracking, and personal routines are stored entirely on your device. Your wellness data never leaves your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.
HealthKit Integration (Optional)
If you choose to enable HealthKit integration, the App may:
- Read heart rate variability (HRV) data from Apple Health
- Write mindful minutes to Apple Health
This data exchange happens directly between your device and Apple Health. We never access, transmit, or store this health data on any server. You can enable or disable HealthKit access at any time in your device settings.
iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you enable iCloud sync, your breathing progress may sync across your devices using Apple's iCloud infrastructure. This data is:
- Encrypted by Apple
- Stored in your personal iCloud account
- Never accessible to us
- Controllable through iOS Settings
Notifications
If you enable breathing reminders, notification preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not use push notification services that could track you.
Third-Party Services
We use minimal third-party services:
RevenueCat (Subscriptions)
If you choose to subscribe to premium features, we use RevenueCat to process the transaction through Apple's App Store. RevenueCat:
- Only processes data when you initiate a purchase
- Does not track your app usage
- Payment is handled entirely by Apple
- We never see your payment details
Services We Don't Use
- Analytics providers
- Advertising networks
- Crash reporting services
- Cloud storage providers (except optional Apple iCloud)
- Social media integrations
Data Security
Since we don't collect or transmit any data, there is no risk of data breaches, unauthorized access, or data leaks related to our services.
Your breathing data and progress remain on your device, protected by:
- iOS built-in security features
- Your device passcode/biometric authentication
- App sandbox isolation
- Apple's encryption for iCloud sync (if enabled)
Children's Privacy
BreathFly is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13. Since we collect no data whatsoever, we are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide. Breathing exercises can benefit people of all ages.
Your Privacy Rights
Data Access & Portability
Since we don't collect your data, there is no data for us to provide. All your breathing progress and settings are stored on your device and accessible to you at any time through the app.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time:
- Delete the app to remove all local data
- Use "Reset Progress" option in Settings
- Manage iCloud data through iOS Settings (if sync enabled)
Permission Management
You can manage app permissions at any time through:
- iOS Settings > BreathFly
- iOS Settings > Privacy > Health (for HealthKit)
- iOS Settings > Notifications (for reminders)
Compliance
GDPR (European Union)
We are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation because we do not process any personal data.
CCPA (California)
We are fully compliant with the California Consumer Privacy Act because we do not collect or sell personal information.
HIPAA
While BreathFly is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, our zero-data-collection approach means no health information is ever at risk.

Our zero-data-collection approach ensures compliance with privacy regulations worldwide, including but not limited to:
- Brazil's LGPD (Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados)
- Canada's PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
